Weysa Dya "Subliminal"
http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?...itles&cv=38613 All Vocals and Lyrics by Weysa Dya for Create your Life Music (ASCAP) "UK Broken Mix" and "Instrumental Mix" by Ribeirinho & Blackwax
Ribeirinho Is Ryan Covill and Blackwax is Steve Reed for Coyote Entertainment & Create your Life Music (ASCAP) "Caribbean Mix" produced, mixed and arranged by Rob"Solid Noize" Temple for Coyote Entertainment & Create Your Life Music(ASCAP) "Cyber-Dub Mix" produced, mixed and arranged by Ronnie Ron & Soul Oasis for Coyote Entertainment & Create Your Life Music(ASCAP) Mastering by Soul Oasis at Oweysis Studios A&R Sammy Rock aka Soul Oasis for Coyote Entertainment (ASCAP) Weysa Dya - Subliminal [Cyberjamz] Weysa Dya returns to Cyberjamz with “Subliminal” which features her spoken/rapped vocal. There are three excellent mixes which I’m struggling to describe right now from Solid Noize, Ronnie Ron and my personal pick from Ribheirinho & Blackwax which absolutely nails it! It’s almost a deep riposte to Q-Tip’s “Breathe and Stop” but it’s so much more and it annoys the hell out of me that I can’t find the right words. Dean Serafini

Subliminal’ (Weysa Dya)-Cyberjamz Records. A new release, TBA, is going to continue the Cyberjamz Records jam slammin’ catalogue. Weysa Dya’s ‘Subliminal’ is catchy and addicting as the title is. The ‘(Ribeirinho and Blackwax Mix)’ is one afro electro stomper with a hypnotizing bassline and these bell like keys sprinkled in just the right spot. You can’t help but move your body to the beat after the first 8 bars maybe 4. The ‘(Solid Noize Caribbean Mix)’ makes sure you don’t stop till you get enough. This mix takes you to that fun place where the palm trees bend to shade you and the pina coladas are served to cool you. Love the flow of this track especially the fast rappin' Weysa Dya. There is superb, tropical, musical energy in this one. ‘(Ronnie Ron Cyber Dub)’ takes me to the 90’s house grooves where each record could do no wrong on the dancefloor with that 09 flip twist (90’s 09’s flip). Ok back to this mix, this mix makes want to see all my friends at once so O can go bang a real dance floor mover. This is one great musical project to look for. Review by Jorge G The Nothing E.P (The Groove Victim)- Out Now!http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?...itles&cv=37863 Jay Brown, a.k.a. The Groove Victim is back with another Cyberjamz Records release, “The Nothing EP”.
“Calm before the Storm” is the introduction with its airy, somber, and dark mood, which later progresses into a more aggressive feel as Groove’s syncopated beats influence one’s stress levels to increase in intensity. “The Havoc Mix” feeds off the prior track but brings out the raw aggressive side of Groove’s production style. With its spaced out chords, hard-edged beats, and a wicked synth solo capitalizing on an already aggressive tone, this track is persistent in its overall goal of lifting the spirits and tension of dancers on the dance floor. The “Nothing but Beats” mix is the Bonus Beat track of the EP and can work wonders as an extended mix to enhance “The Havoc Mix”, or an underlying beat with other House Tracks. DJs are gonna love these beats!!!!!!! We hope you enjoy this EP as Groove continues his mission to bring you the best in House Music and continues to work with Cyberjamz Records to become a force to be reckoned with in the House Music Community. Exclusive Preview: The Groove Victim "The nothing" (Cyberjamz) Jay Brown under his Groove Victim disguise presents the gorgeous "The nothing", an instrumental production built around a deep relentless yet smooth percussion enriched groove that is topped with lush atmospheric synth melodies and beautiful jazzy keys in the 'Calm Before The Storm' version, while the edgy 'The Havok Mix' is a much more aggressive and features freaky electronic synth waves. Also included is the 'Nothing But Beats' DJ tool, a beats version of 'The Havok Mix'. The Nothing’ E.P (The Groove Victim)-Cyberjamz Records. Cyberjamz Records has a new groove and all dancers will become victims to this groove but no prisoners will need to be taken to the dance floor because all will volunteer to be on the dance floor till the groove ceases. Groove Victim's 'The Nothing' is a sweet track that may have been nothing before the first musical note was recorded but it is all something - like the '(Calm Before The Storm)'; which happens to be one of the mixes in this project and an awesome one at that. When you board this track you will be elevated to a music level where music and you are one. This project's other hot mix, to create havoc after the calm, is '(The Havok Mix)' and what pleasant havoc it creates. I feel and hear that 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' sync madness when I hear the sync talking in this mix. Great stuff in this little musical package of 'The Nothing'. Don't let that title fool you this record is something and then some..."-) Reviewed by Jorge G Groove Victim - The Nothing EP [Cyberjamz] Jay Brown delivers more deep dopeness of the very calibre. “Calm Before The Storm” is a laid back affair with mellow keys and soothing strings that just wash over you; the music has a wonderful calming effect while the rhythms gently prod your feet into action. “Nothing But Beats” is just that and offers up several opportunities for those who’re prepared to be creative in their sets. “The Havoc Mix” offers a more penetrating alternative with more urgency in the beats and a striking combination of synths. Infomation about releases and catalog are found at http://www.traxsource.com http://junodownload.com Here is an Interview by Carmen Mitchell aka Princess Tam Tam about SammyRock and Cyberjamz.(2006). How did you get your start in the music business? "I started in the music business with a Mobile DJ operation in 1980-1988. I started by collecting 45s and albums from my parents at the age of seven years old. I now have over 20,000 records which I continue to use to make the business work. I have spun for over twenty-four years and entertained party people till this very day! I've also played music in various New York City clubs and Radio Stations". How and why did Cyberjamz Radio begin? "Cyberjamz Internet Radio began when some people were discussing the possibility of the death of dance music in general. In order to prove that our musical culture was and is still alive, an outlet was needed for djs to express themselves in order to continue our musical journey and connect with true house music lovers; hence, came the creation of Cyberjamz Internet Radio http://cyberjamz.com". . What do you think of the role of traditional broadcast radio when compared to online and satellite radio?< i> "The role is quite different in that in traditional radio there is a select format that must be followed vs. online and satellite radio, where a programer has more flexablitity to express themselfs and there are no FCC regulations to follow, also there is more freedom of speech, less formatting and more music: this is what I love about online and satellite radio". How you recruit people for your programming? "I recruit the broadcasters based on their demo mix tape session, knowledge of all genre of music and of course character". "I would not consider someone for programming based on how popular they are or their ego". "They must be able to become part of the family and work as one unit and keep the music and programing interesting by connecting with the listeners".. Where did you get the name Cyberjamz from? "Funny you should ask this"."I sat down to think for a minute in front of my computer"."It was like a bolt of lighting!! I stood up and said to myself, all these wonderful people connected in the "Cyber" world, why not serve them with some "Jams" aka Tunes". "It really took some time for the name to stick, but by the next day I had convinced myself that the words Cyber(space) and Jams fit well together."I then wrote both words(with the help of Lola we decided to change the last letter from "s" to "z", we now have a place to call home for music: Cyberjamz Radio"! Where do you see Cyberjamz five or ten years from now? "It been five years now that Cyberjamz has been in the forefront of the underground music scene". "We have and still are progressing, by adding new shows and the creation of channel 2, in that respect we have evolved into something special". "As far as the future for Cyberjamz Radio"? "Only the spiritual world knows for sure, but what I can say is that Cyberjamz Radio and the supporters love our station and appreciate all the hard work that went into creating something out of nothing". "It can be done with a positve vision and the drive to make it work". "Hopefully we will expand and add multiple Cyberjamz Channels to serve different audiance around the world". Cyberjamz Japan, Cyberjamz UK, Cyberjamz Europe, ect". "The next step is to take Cyberjamz to cable T.V with live streaming and video"."All we can do is hope and keep our dreams alive". How had the internet changed your relationship with and to music and the industry? "The internet is a fantastic way to convert the unconverted"."This has been a great opportunity to express and share our love for music"."Reach people that otherwise cannot attend dance clubs or are working and would love to hear music via the internet"."New technology(cell phones, roku recievers, ect) make it possible for anyone to connect to a live feed from our broadcasters/djs from all over the world"."This is what makes Cyberjamz Radio special". "The industry has now taken notice of our station and the ways of the cyber-world,also the music industry now understands the power of the internet; therefore their music can be heard by a much larger audience than regular radio, especially if it's in the genre of Dance Music". "With this said, the music industry has now embraced the fact that internet radio stations like Cyberjamz can and will make a difference in sales"."I feel confident that we can help the labels by promoting thier music, help better prepare a marketing tool for their upcoming releases, and by allowing us to market their product before it hits the stores"."This is something Cyberjamz Radio is very proud to be a part of by preserving our musical culture and keeping house music traditional". Interview by Camen Mitchell aka Princess Tam Tam (2005) Revised by Sammy Rock(2009)
